i attended an orientation this afternoon. and the opening line went like this:

"hi i'm rex! i'm half filipino., and half filipina."^^

i was hoping that this day would be perfect. thrilling and fun. unlike yesterday when i only had one class out of three. arrggh. it wasn't entirely a bad day, though. in fact that one class was a good starter because our group's handouts [which i made extra special over the weekend] were chosen for "best layout". yey.

ina-admit ko, gusto ko pag bakasyon [sino bang hinde?]. kasi syempre break yun, pahinga... time para magliwaliw, para gumawa ng mga bagay katulad ng nalimutang hobbies at hindi gumawa ng bagay katulad ng pag-aaral. 

pero mas na-aappreciate ko na ang school days ngayon. kasi pag school days hindi necessarily yung whole week nasa school ka. kahit pa 6 days yung pasok, may free day pa rin. in my case 4 days lang ang pasok... sufficient na rin yung 3 days para sa pahinga at paggawa ng whatever. di pa kasama dun yung endless supply ng free time in between and after classes dahil sadyang masisipag ang mga prof. oh dba? compared sa bakasyon na tuloy-tuloy at nagiging boring habang lumilipas ang mga araw, parang mas ok kung sandaling break tapos school para ma-put to use naman yung free days na wala kang ginagawa. tingin nyo?

so eto. ako ay magpo-propose ng bagong system ng school year. hihi. kunyari may alam ako sa mga ganyang bagay. sa totoo gusto ko lang naman i-point out na mas gusto ko ang may pasok [sa ngayon]. kasi nung sembreak forever na akong nasa bahay. eh ngayong may pasok, nakakareceive na ako ng new info, nakikita ko yung mga friends ko, at nakakapagliwaliw pa ko at the same time. masaya.

parang kanina, nanood kami ng movie. out of 7 cinemas sa g4, 6 yung nagpapalabas ng harry potter. buti na lang at nagtira pa sila. kung hindi ay di ko mapapanood ang magandang flight plan. oo. hindi harry potter ang pinanood ko. and i'm happy for it. maganda talaga pramis. tapos kahaponpala pinanood namin si constantine maroullis [spelling ba non??] sa greenbelt. live. at FREE. tatayo ka nga lang at makikisiksik sa mga nilalang na grabe sumigaw. hehe. di ako super fan, pero dahil napanood ko yung latest season ng a.i. syempre nainteresado naman ako. saka gusto ko malaman kung anu hitsura niya aaaat if he's as good as he is on tv.

naexcite talaga ko kahapon mag-film100. balita ko kasi ay parang history yun. di naman ako ganung interesado sa real history na yung may dynasties, wars, ancient civilizations at discoveries pero kung tungkol sa movies, wow. it would be nice to know yung mga pinagmulan ng mga ideas na connected dun. matututo na rin siguro akong mag-appreciate kahit pa yung mga black and white na silent movies. and i so love watching movies. obvious ba?

anyway nung mga bandang 1.30pm may lalake na nag-open nung pinto tapos sinabi samin na may nakapost pala dun. hindi kami magmi-meet. kala ko pwede na umuwi. di pala kasi required kami na manood ng film showing na ipapalabas in that same room ng 2pm. nanood kami ng 4 israeli films na kinda weird. hebrew ata yung language nung movies kaya may subtitles. the titles were 'poisoned', 'pure soup', 'america', and 'yonder'. weirdness lahat. pero ayus lang kasi diba without them, di mo madidistinguish yung good movies from the bad. parang light from darkness, heat from cold, day from night. you get the idea. i think the best one ay yung 'america'. simple, yet madrama.

i almost forgot about my photobucket account. so here i am showing you pics from today. my cousin [tiffany] celebrated her first birthday and dedication this pm at clsf u-belt. kiddie party, hahahahaaaa!! these are what i consider the best pics. enjoy!

tintin got tired of us taking her picture. she kept on saying "ayaw! ayaw!" so instead of getting a nice one we ended with this pic.^^

school lasted until about 1.30pm. my last class was supposed to end at 4.00pm but my prof just peeked in and said "is this film 110?... next week na tayo mag-meet." nice parting message, don't you think?

i guess this post wouldn't be about school then.

okay. so i spent the rest of my school day at makati. but before that, i rode the first mrt coach i can squeeze into [literally]. it was so jampacked that the driver said "next train na lang po kayo. maluwag ang next train" at almost every stop. what a grueling ride. i expected that during the ride somehow i'll get to sit down. too bad there was not a single gentleman there. don't get me wrong. i have nothing against men who don't give their seats to women [though there are times when i wanted to ask if they were gay... or just something hurtful], but can't they at least let somebody else sit halfway of the ride? hellooo. i rode the mrt passing 8/9 stations. i stood there for 30 minutes. no way i'm doing that the remainder of the sem. NO WAY.

on the positive side [i seldom do this nowadays], i'm glad i am blessed with feet and that i am able to stand. although my one toe is a bit too small.^^
